Decide the source of truth
If SyncWABA and an external CRM both store customer data, define which system owns each field. This prevents two automations from repeatedly overwriting each other.
Sync only useful events
Not every message needs to become a CRM event. Write the events your sales process uses: lead created, qualification completed, meeting requested, human assigned, opportunity updated or conversation outcome recorded.
Handle failures visibly
Any integration can fail because of expired credentials, field changes or rate limits. Log failures and make them visible to an operator so important lead data is not silently lost.
Use CRM data responsibly
Only expose customer or account data to the AI that is necessary for the configured task. Apply role permissions and privacy rules appropriate to your organization.
